Missy Higgins Tom Petty Cover Clip

I was lucky enough to catch Missy's sound check in Kansas City, MO on August 5, 2008. This is a very short clip she did of "Learning to Fly" by Tom Petty. She sounded beautiful, so I really hope she plans on expanding on this!

I did watch the whole show later that evening. She was doing her soundcheck when I accidentally walked in on her to pick up my tickets at the bar. She actually doesn't sing this song at her concerts. I've now been to a few of her sound checks and she plays a lot of covers that she never plays during the concerts. It's always a unique experience!

Nope, I didn't say anything. I think it was one of her sound technicians. I was too in awe to say or do anything!
