This country was built on freedom of speech. Secrets are necessary when you need to hide information from someone. Revealing of said information that would tarnish or destroy your image. Secrets are never good things, secrets are bad things or else they would not be secret. If you saved a child from being struck by a car would you keep it secret? If you blackmailed someone would you keep it secret? These are obvious things but the bullshit that our "leaders" spin would have us think secrets=safe

How does this help the world? When you have enemys, you must have your secrets. When your enemys know your secrets you are vulnerable. When you are vulnerable you will lash out in defense of yourself. By exposing the US governments secrects all wikileaks is doing is tiping the scales of balance in the favor of the enemys of the US which ultimately in the end will jepordize the lives of US citizens. No government is perfect. Educate yourselves before jumping on the band wagon for this cause
