Battle occurred the end of January, 2007. Opposing Force called themselves Sons of Jesus. Their leader, Jesus, was KIA during this fierce battle that lasted about 24 hours. Coalition Forces employed M1 tanks, M2 Bradley Fighting Vehicles, Strykers, 120mm mortars, Close Air Support - F-16's F-18's, Tactical Air - AH-64 Apache Attack Helicopters. The fiercest fight of my year in Iraq. I knew one NCO awarded a Silver Star for bravery during the battle, and first CF casualty, RTD 5-6 weeks later.

Not that I'm an expert, but I'd guess they'd rather fire bullets than rockets, since the latter are supposed to be more expensive. But I could be wrong.

I miss being an M1 Tanker, this video reminds me fighting the insurgents along the Infantry, good times. For those of you serving, you are the best!
