  • My husband and I were married the year new AF song came out in 1957. We were in SAC in the AF. He stayed for the full 20. All 3 sons followed us in and now our granddaughter is in the Af. We just came back from visiting the base we were stationed at Westover in MA, Reserve units from every service now located there. Fantastic. Good memories. Rita fm GA

  • I wore the Air Force blue in the late 60's a terrific song!!!

  • Wow..B-52s were The New Kids on the Block then...Who'd a-thunk they'd still be in service 50+ yrs later...

  • Good old Mitchell Miller, virtuoso oboist, conductor and overall music man! Ya gotta here the vocal march, too, from "The Longest Day" elsewhere here on good old YouTube!

  • RIP MITCH MILLER!!

  • bet your boots

  • Saturday mornings, before Modern Farmer and Crusader Rabbit!! I remember all the words, unheard in over forty years. God bless you and Mitch Miller.

  • I went to an air show in london ontario canada and the USAY ppl were the behaved as were all.Its just tht i was really impressed with the USAF.

  • My favorite version of this video. Century fighters, B-47, B-66, and sung with real enthusiasm. I had it on 16mm film, used to use it as a filler when working as a director at a TV station back in the early 60's.

  • Great video, found it by luck. I was in the USAF back in the early 70s and this was always played at the few parades we did have.
