they are simply doing cross over loops!

Good idea to not comment more. You are not making yourself look any smarter. I have watched plenty of videos of the Blue angels, Thunderbirds and other teams as well as being here at their shows. Obviously, you have not. As always, not knowing anything does not stop people from having an opinion.

In formation, you will turn around the axis of number 1 and 2, but in jets its simply impossible to do that while staying at the same altitude.

maybe you have to watch a vid of blue angels and thunderbirds performing a barrel roll.

You consider a barrel roll as a single plane turning over his horizontal axis.

If you do that in formation, it isnt pretty if every plane is turning over his own horizontal axis.

I have not only been to air shows, I have flown in them. This is a loop, and not at all impossible to do in formation. Perhaps you have never seen the Blue Angels, Thunderbirds, or any other air show team. Perhaps you have never seen a real airplane? LMAO
