what brand and size LED lights did you use in this? i was looking for them on Ebay and couldnt find nothing like these.. all i could find were 3mm LEDS

thats pretty badass. looks like the edge led that some departments have- cept without stobes.

awesome bar, I just was given a free edge bar, stripped of all the light units inside but still has all of its power supplies and everything, so I'm going to make a project out of it just like this one. Awesome work!

i bought the LEDs at ebay. 100 blue LEDs 7€. white was around 12€, amber and red ~10€ i think.
the blue are 7000mcd (good brightness)
red 5000 mcd (not so good)
amber 2500 mcd (bad)
white 12,000 mcd (very good!)
