If it is true that lying yields karma, how come those in power lie forever without apparently any consequence? I'm referring to people running governments, corporations, media, secret societies, etc...

Thank you. I have to work on honesty. I am not honest with my self and my loved ones. The truth is that I am not honest with anybody. Only when I was a child my mom was always teaching me not to tell the truth because it can harm her or somebody else. Now I have to relearn this. It's hard because I learn that people do not like the truth. Now I understand this is not the truth because I like when people are honest and when I am honest.
