it appears that you arent useing the steel rod they give you for the transducer, is this true and why did you opt to not use it? I cant seem to understand how the rod is supposed to fit in the bag. let me know your logic, thanks.

This guy is a joke! You're right it looks like he literally just bought that stuff, used it once, then decided to be the expert and make a ton of common sense videos. Did you see him miss that fish? Didn't even attempt to set the hook, any real fisherman it's a reflex, you feel a fish you set the hook...looks like his are a little slow.
