Norm Charlton knocks Mike Scioscia for a loop ... Charlton was hit by the pitch to get on base and needed some retaliation. It was the Sunday night game of the week on June 24, 1990. Oh and the Reds won the game that day and the World Series that season.

  • 0:37 failed high five

  • Hit em' again Charleton

  • @edstac5 charlton was on base after being hit by a pitch. the collision was old school tit for tat.

  • I'd say if anything, Charlton got whiplash, his bell rung, then his face smashed in the dirt with a shin guard to the back of the head. Ha Ha.

  • Appreciate your reference to vaginal discomfort. It must be something you're used to giving out. I agree about Sciocia. I don't believe there should be changes to rules or how a plate collision should go down (exactly like I would suggest no-one should attempt on you)& re: the death threats on Cousins; it's BS for anyone to consider or suggest such a thing. Gotta say nice to see the Reds closer towards the top of the NL Central Division for the second time in twelve years. Good luck with that

  • @edstac5 Does your vagina itch? BTW, I hope you enjoyed Buster Posey's one good year. He'll never be the same.

  • Norm Charlton is a BMF! All hail the 1990 World Champion Cincinnati Reds! A pitcher taking out a catcher in a 5-run game. Gotta love it. And Scioscia was even known as one of the best in all of MLB at blocking the plate. Charlton just leveled his arse. Nasty Boys indeed!

  • I'm a Giants fan & I feel the hit on Posey was clean enough. This is a deliberate attempt to damage Scioscia by a "pasty-boy"...or is it "pansy-boy"? Ohhhh..."NASty-boy". Got it

  • I was at this game, felt like the playoffs! Kinda pissed at the time because found out Stevie Ray Vaughn was playing Riverbend that night, then he died two months later.

  • Cincinnati had one helluva team that year. Just the right amounts of guts, passion, bad attitude, and heart.
