Hands down the best anchor on what has been the best newscast in the market for the last 25+ years...WSVN has the flash, NBC6 has the better set, WFOR has all the stars that made their name elsewhere (Berry at WSVN, Norcross at WTVJ), but no one has the integrity (which leads to its continuity, I mean Jennings has been there since when Bishop retired and Dwight pretty much grew up there) that Local 10 has

I believe that the Weather channel once was "straight up" weather, ratings were awful, the documentaries bring in the money for them. I think they will rebrand it to Weather Plus which would be awful. I dont know why NBC wasted money on the weather channel. That is not an industry they should be looking into. They should work on their badly rated MSNBC news channel (and regular channel so as to help their falling affiliates) before going to ruin another.

It was WTVJ's signal is bad, their move OUT of Miami (where the News is!) was bad, and yes NBCs AWFUL programming has killed almost all of NBCs O&Os and affiliates. None of NBCs O&Os are #1, few of them are even #2. As for affiliates, look at WPTV up in West Palm Beach, they were #1 since their sign on (they debut with NBC) and now for the first time, WPEC CBS12 has passed them in ratings. NBC may have been dominant in the 1990s around the country, but that party is over.

Well if WTVJ is so perfect why do the rate lower than ANY (english, spanish, whatever) other over the air tv channel in Miami!

WPLG is as equally guity as WFOR in getting the facts wrong. Last year they aired a breaking news story that turned out to be nothing and FOX NEWS CHANNEL carried it. WPLG never corrected themselves.
