RAT ROD VW PROJECT6.MPG

Continued coverage of progress to project which is almost completed. Driving car now just working out bugs and oil leaks, ha ha. Lights working and still need to finish turn signals, side windows, wipers then a heater for the cold weather coming up. I still might want to paint it a color? I have taken it to a few shows and got 2nd place a few times. 2nd in radical class in Manassas was the best. I think the rat rod has turned into a Volks Rod

Dude, i love your rod, great job, one of the best ive seen. Ive got a 66 that im converting and i cannot find headlights and mounting brackets like what youve got there, whered ya get em? haha and also, where did you get that hood and how did you have to mount it? any help would be much obliged! thanks

@cabinboy500 , Thanks for the compliments, I had fun working on it. The brackets are homemade and the lights are from dune buggy place. they are H4 bulbs(bright0 and they have a second bulb inside for turn signals or parking lights. I used a orange light and they glow light pumpkins. I will show this on a upcoming video showing my new engine and the burgundy 2 tone paint. Watch for an update

i love your rat rod! if you dont mined me asking about how much money did you put into it? i just got a 72 vw bug and ive been trying to look online to see about how much i would need to put into it to trun it into a rat rod.
