  • I made a great discovery. I found the 16MM Grantray released intro on eBay. It was found at an estate sale from a ad agency employee's collection. It's only the intro and in English with great sound.

  • On some stations, the five segments of "Marvel Superheroes" were split and run one per day as part of a local children's show.

On other stations, all five segments were run as a half-hour, with this intro opening the show.

  • Boy the animation in the intro is way better than the one from the full cartoon.

  • Where's Submariner lol

  • @jay55also: I had a few issues as a kid, as well as the Marvel Masterworks now. I remember.

  • @IG2HI Hulk was a defender at one time too.

  • Hulk is fetal alcohol!

  • Four Avengers and a Defender. Can you dig it?

  • HAHAHAAA! Where the heck did you find this?

(...and why was the Hulk so short?)

  • WOW! I remeber watching the individual Marvel superhero shows on channel 5 sometime in the 1970's, but not this consolidated one, i hope one of you youngsters can restore it, get rid of the film scratches and whatever for posterior...

    (I know, posterity)

  • Iron Man looks like a game show host or a live-on-location newscaster with that microphone-looking wand.
