F.A.Q Won't the dove revitilzer irritate the pimples and make it worse or is it gentle enough? and what if you have sensitive skin won't the benzol peroxide irritate? --Dove revitalizer pillows has to sides to it, a cleaning side and a exfoliation side. The cleaning side is gentle enough that It does not irritate the skin. As for benzoyl peroxide (BP), If you have sensitive skin, you should use less of it. Adjust amount of usage suitable to your skin.
This routine works well for me..... I have been using this routine for almost two years now. It has worked great for me....and it also did help me rid of my past acne scars.
It takes about 3 weeks to see a huge amount of results...but Honestly this routine is soo cheap..you wouldn't even feel bad if it the result is taking a bit longer.. ^_^"
Clean&Clear face wash: I stay away from all of those micro beads, scented , minty things. The purpose of a face wash to is cleanse and rid the face of all bacteria. Make sure you buy the type that has salicylic acid in it. SA helps rid of dead skin cells and also washes away any bacteria that is accumulated during the day.
Dove Revitalizer: I use this with my face wash. This ensures the exfoliation of dead skins cells, and also takes off any makeup residue my face wash did not catch. This is a deep cleaning technique that also hydrates and soften the skin. The misconception of acne is that the skin need to be exposed to harsh chemicals..people forget that acne prone skin is very sensitive. Hydration, and softening REALLY does help the skin.
Benzoyl Peroxides: This further helps kill bacterias that is potentially on the skin. Most research has found that BP has been used incorrectly. You need to slap an excess amount of the face. This ensures that BP will soak and seep into the skin. BE LIBERAL with it...I cannot STRESS this enough.
Aveeno Radiant Moisturizer: This softens, and smooths out the skin tone. After exposure to BP your skin will dry out, and we do not want to use an OILY moisturizer to balance the skin. I use Aveeno because there is soy products in it...it is very delicate on the skin..and IT DOES NOT agitate the skin nor add more oil to the skin. It gives the skin a nice balance.

I ALWAYS used to use benzoyl peroxide and then got allergic to it one day.. sadly since it was working well for me... so I switched to using salicylic acid which you can find in MANY acne medications.. IF your allergic to salicylic acid there are many alternatives such as natural oils like tee tree oil and jojoba oil etc... ^-^
here's a tip guys I found it's better to use disposable cotton squares to dry my face. It's a bit more expensive from just using a towl, but i haven't broken out since, Towls can carry bacteria. hope that helped some one =)
my skins fucked up like its all dry around my nose and my face and like there white lil flakes around my nose if i rub it but the top part of it and my forhead is so OILY! Im so miserable.. Anyone has anyidea?
To RainbowToxic..I have exactly that type of skin--it's so dry it flakes like crazy, but I'm way oily on my forehead. Basically, what you want to do is adjust what type of moisturizer you use. i'm following a benzoyle Peroxide regimen similar to hers, so my nose is extra dry. So, I use a cream moisturizer (cetaphil cream) for dry areas, since it is heavier. I use a light lotion everywhere else. Also, I exfoliate 3 times a week with sugar (mixed with my facewash) to get rid of the flakes. :)
