Our first child was born at home, posterior and acynclitic (she came sunnyside up and head cocked to the side---usually results in long labors and c-section in hospital). Thanks to Hypnobabies (and lots of practice before hand) the birth was easy and fast.

Alicia is getting close to transition in this video but you can see how calm she feels and how focused she is...she's just riding the birthing wave (contraction) out. The whole birth was like this.

  • Great! I love seeing Hypnobabies births on You Tube. You can have a comfortable unmedicated birth, using Hypnobabies!

  • Awesome job!

  • Gzz I hope this doesnt come out the wrong way. But is just me or does she look like Casey Anthony... But a Young Version. She did a Great Job...

  • god bless you.....

  • wow, it must be hard to focus your attention when you're in such immense pain

  • Your ability to relax your mind during birth, makes all the difference in the world. A relaxed mind leads to a relaxed body. Keep watching positive birth videos and stories like this one and soon the opportunity to be a part of something so grand will overide the fear. I also had a hypnotic, home water birth. Mommas if we can have peaceful and gentle births so can you. I have to ask was the sound of the phone ringing really intense in your head? Was it distracting?

  • @MZBROWN212 LOL

  • wow sooo calm

  • oooh wow that's so amazing. congrats to you... hypnobirthing is a wonderful, gentle way to do it.

  • god bless u

  • I had a midwife and attempted to have my 1st at home. I remained at 9cm for hours and tried lot's of movements and positions, but eventually I wanted to transfer to the hospital. My son was acynclitic too but the backpain was excruciating and wore me down. I wish I could have stayed home, he had a traumatic vacuum extraction and had trouble latching to the breast for 10 days because of nerve damage, I felt so bad for him. My 2nd, a girl, was a beautiful homebirth though.
