INTERESTING FACTS: As many as 80% of Bangkok Thailand's population and 30% of the Chinese Vietnamese come from the Shantou Chaozhou region. Of course we cannot forget the 30% of Chinese Singaporeans, 20% of Chinese Malaysians, 18% of Hong-Kongnese, and 10% of Macau-ese who also are of Chaozhou/Shantou ancestry.

I am a Shantou native and I must admit that there are not enough courses taught in school in my native language. Watching some teachers struggling with Mandarin in the classroom breaks my heart. Science subjects can be tought in a much easier fashion using the dialect. It's sad that the chaozhou dialect is not being passed on as a cultural tradition in the schools anymore.

There are a few things that the Chinese people have to consider carefully, not least of which is the question of breaking the country to pieces. They must consider that possibility and the timing of when is the right time to go after the communist occupation forces headed by the CCP. Actually, it doesn't matter who communist leaders are, all commies have no respect for the Chinese cultures, not just Teochew cultures but all Chinese local cultures and dialects in every provinces in China. Commies changed Teochew prefecture to "Shantou", they failed. The prefecture is was split into three cities Jieyang City, Chaozhou City, and Shantou City. But commies still hard at work to destroy the Teochew identity... Last year they appointed a Shantou commie dog name Lin Lun-Lun 林伦论 to head Chaozhou City's only university, and last month (Jan 29, 2011) they named another Shantou commie dog name Xu Guang 许光 second in command of communist party boss and the mayor of Chaozhou City.

Teochew cultures and languages are slowing being destroyed by the communists. Shantou is being used as wedge to devide Teochew people in E. Guangdong province. 1: czbtv stands for Chaozhou Broadcast TV station in Chaozhou City. IT IS NOT THE FUCKING SHANTOU CITY STATION. So WTF is "Shantou" included in the title for? Commie scumbags!

2. "Chiu-Chow" is Cantonese word for Teochew/Chaozhou, so WTF does a Teochew TV station romanize the word for Teochew in Cantonese? Stupid commies!
