Most offroad dirt tracks use a type of clay that is high maintenance unlike carpet which just get swept,carpet is also easier to rebuild .

I used to race on carpet tracks becasue we had to rent a hall, and tear down the track every night

@TheXYZProject Like I said, it determines with the owner and the conditions. This track is in Canada, so I could understand with the carpet.
