The more one listens to this song the more one likes it. Suman is a better singer than Lata. The voice is sweeter than Lata's, and Suman has a higher range.

What a beautiful voice with the fine shakes like Talat. She also has high notes and I have heard them in two duets with Rafi. Suman was a complete singer. Music composers of her era were mediocre and did not realize her great qualities. Suman should have got ten thousand songs to sing instead of the 740 songs that she got in her lifetime. Indian music would have been even better she got half of Lata's songs, with high notes added to them.

Suman Kalyaanpur and Talat Mahmood had this special voice as they sang their voice would shake which in itself was a melody.
