This was the first book I've ever read. I absolutely loved this book, I just finished reading for the second time. It's a story I can't get enough of. The way the story is writen is awesome. I mean with using the flashbacks like they did. And the fight with Valaria were good too. But the ending when they looked in the hearse freaked the shit out of me. To be honest I couldn't really sleep that night because I couldn't forget that one part, it kept playing over and over in my head.

I loved this book! Laymon is a real page turner, and i can honestly say, i fell inlove with the characters of this book, but if im honest, 3 things bugged me: 1) the 2 strangers and the caddy. Was intresting, but disapointed there wasnt more from them. 2: the mysterious figure in the woods during halloween...again, didnt get more from that...and i felt the ending was a bit rushed, cause we dont know what happened to a certain female character at the end. Still awesome to read!

@WiccanLass I found AllHallow's Eve the worst of his books. Also Beware and Night Show was very low in my opinion. Other than that, Richard Laymon rocks with all his other novels.

Love Laymon! Kicks Stephen King's ass! Favorite Laymon book is All hallows eve! Made me feel physically sick! And THATS a book!

Read "IN THE DARK" (Laymon) "BODY RIDES" and "ISLAND" All solid Laymon reads! You will like them all!

I've just found out Richard Laymon died years ago!!!!! I've read almost everything and I'm saving the rest for a special time. The Travelling Vampire Show is FANTASTIC. Stephen King rocks too in a different way, man.

phenomenal book. One of his best and i've read atleast 20 of his novels.
One of my favourite Richard Laymon books. If you haven't already, check out Shaun Hutson. He writes in a similar style to Laymon.

I am a HUGE vampire fan but like you the Twilight/V-Diaries trend doesn't really appeal to me.
I was wondering if you happened to read "Let the Right One In" by John Ajvide Lindqvist.
