  • One last thing wood shims compress and within a week or two you'll be rocking on the toilet all over again.

  • After puting the toilet in place I use Plaster of paris for a classy looking job. Plus it's much easier then shiming which are easy to move while placing or rocking the toilet in place. It's only about $2.00 a job.

  • Shims - little pieces of wood or I guess you could use pieces of plastic or metal might be better

  • ok.. but how do you shim a toilet? what do you use?
