What goes into selling a 56,500 square foot home when you have to be out in 30 days? Candy Spelling, wife of late TV producer Aaron Spelling, knows. It's documented in the new HGTV special 'Selling Spelling Manor' airing Dec. 15 on HGTV. (Dec. 14)

  • I love when people say the most ignorant stuff like people with that much money should give it to others that have nothing..and talk about homeless when they pass those people daily and NEVER open their OWN home to them nor give half their money away..but expect others too. Maybe if they did something worthwhile and actually MADE millions of dollars instead of being a whiner they could THEN make that decision with THEIR money. TEND TO YOUR OWN and DO YOUR PART don't worry about the next guys $.

  • FYI...for those of you who don't know or don't bother doing the research, Candy and Aaron Spelling were always extremely active in charity work. Aaron was one of the most iconic figures in prime time television production and created many shows I'm sure you've watched. You helped pay for their home. Besides, it was their money to do whatever they wanted with. Our shitty infrastructure is what's responsible for homelessness... divorce, drugs, physical disabilities...

  • Remember Rococo?

  • If you ever want to see horrible design... go to a rich persons house!!!

  • So many designers are not recognized due to commissions from wealthy snobs who can't be happy by just saying, "I'm so rich I hired an architect to replicate what I want." So damn simple... Isn't it?

  • this women didn't design a damn thing!!! That's the thing about rich ignorant people. Her architect and interior designer designed this place. I am watching HGTV right now and getting so freaking irked at "I designed this and that and this and that..." Rich people make me sick. Give the freaking architect and ID the credit for taking what she saw in a movie or in France and making it happen.

  • crying about leaving your gadzillion dollar mansion.

    Sorry, not feeling it toodles.

  • @Dianeroseify Don't you think that your fucked up government should take care of the homeless vets who fought in all of these illeagal wars, your soldiers lost their blood for the zionism and the fucking secret society

  • @Dianeroseify

There are alot of programs that give food to the homeless. No one has to give money if they don't want to. Charity is an option not a right. The men and women who serve this country protect us all not just billionaires and multi-millionaires. We should all lend a helping hand to those who can't afford to take care of themselves.

  • She is not a billionaire, her husband earned that money which means that nobody gave it to him. You can say he created the money by creating the shows which were a huge success. No one has to give money if they don't want to.It is a choice not a right! Yes there is a huge homeless problem and people can't take care of themselves but I don't think that it's her problem. She knows that here are poor people but I wouldn't say it's her fault.
