I was inspired by SabersFan85 to make this.

In case someone is wondering if I picked this up, yes, I know I spelled "Broadcast" wrong.

This presentation is in memory of all those who lived through and died in the great blizzard of 1977 in Pennsylvania and New York State.

I would like to thank my grandfather, Ralph Jones, who lived through and saw the whole thing, for taping the original "brodcast" which you are about to hear

  • Hey Mr Ralph Jones - kudos to you for having the foresight to tape that radio report so that your grandson could post it on that "youtube thing" some 30 years later.

  • I remember this,i live in alabama and this was the coldest winter i can remember in my life and i am 61 yrs old.this is just a spring day in moscow, russia

  • I think it was 76 or 77 we had the bad one here in Michigan. My mom was int he hospital in the city. MY dad was stuck with all us kids for 7 to 10 days. A dryer fire, a toaster malfunction caused my poor father to throw the dirty dishes and toaster out the window. Grandma came by on the tractor to deliver food stuff. So did my uncle on a snowmobile. We were throwing our selves off the top of the barn at the height of the blizzard. The drifts went over the garage of the house. He started to grey.

  • I was stuck on a bus in the storm and the driver gave me a handjob to keep warm he said! It was my first sexual experience! To this day I still grapple with that experience.

  • My brother and i made a lot of money that winter shoveling snow. Was awesome no school and made money shoveling snow for 7-10 hours a day. Of course we did not have nintendo or xbox back then

  • @cheeriosinabowl Kinda blows my mind, too. That was an awesome thing to ponder, imo.

  • @miguelisms If you look closely, it's actually a snowmobile on top of a snowbank on top of a bus. 0_o

  • 2:25 LMFAO :'D thatz amazing

  • I lived through it in N.F. NY! Moved to Louisiana that summer.
