I like my mac, but in my opinion, a Mac is just a PC. A beautiful PC, but a PC. Windows is a nice OS, too, even if I use OS X 99% of the time I use my MBP because it interacts better with that hardware.

@aNgiaL1337 - Then why use Linux when we yet have a very good Unix with OSX? Linux is a fatware, like Windows, while OSX is based on BSD and uses of the micro-kernel Mach, making it faster, reactive and less memory-hungry. Tanenbaum, the pope of OSes is horrified by Linux, and even Torvalds said last year it has become a monster. The only good point of Linux is that it's free... just like BSD and... OSX, that is a BSD-Unix and comes with any Mac (and has most of its code open-sourced).

@Galaad1 First of all, what is a windows-box? Second, why would you drop your mac because youre changing os? Third, why not use Linux instead of OS X?

As far as I can remember, windows users have some fundamental hate for macs. It's just as fanatical as the mac fan boys, a cult in their own.

Most mac users I know, including myself, have windows 7 (one of microsofts best OSes) on bootcamp. So, sure there are some mac fanboys out there, but those guys are way outnumbered by the windows equivalents.
