Thats a nitemare Ive got 2 phones so far they say they have software progam problems and can activate my phone and cant give a reason I guess theyll keep sending phones that dont work but Ill bet the government is paying for broke junk

the kyocera jax phone is your basic cell phone, not much to it really. But it does make and recieve calls and you can check your minutes left on it. the phone itself costs about $10 at walgreens or rite aid, i wouldn't say its no good, it just doesn't have alot of features. It does have mobile web capabilities but assurance doesn't allow that use on the phone. the call quality is ok, it even has a speakerphone. not the greatest but its okay for a basic cell phone

Basically you get a Kyocera Jax phone, it will either say 'assurance wireless' or 'virgin mobile' on the phone, since its the same company. It uses the Sprint pcs network which also owns virgin mobile
