The priests are the biggest cowards for being afraid to give last rights. I guess they don't believe their own faith.

@diane4947 I do not defend priests of that era but I can not say I blame them for that I mean it was not like aids which needs more direct contact

@AdamJMacGregor These rites will not save you. You will be saved only if you recognizes Jesus as your saviour, that He died for you on the cross and that He was resuscitated. Then you need to repent for your sins. This is the ONLY way. All these rites are human invention and totally disregarded by God.

I can imagine that the world of the middle ages was filled with whores and people disregaurding the 10 Laws of God that Moses recieved. Well maybe the people deserved to suffer God's anger.

@diane4947 (Sorry for the late reply) Wouldn't it add to the death toll? The Priests are not cowards for refusing to perform last rites (In my opinion anyway) and it does -not- show they have no belief in their own faith.
