Yeah, I like this old look for the guide better than the guide animations in the new movie. and the whole way of representing a galactic war as an early 80s arcade game is just hilarious.

This is where a dutch advertisement ("even apeldoorn bellen") is based on.. That's an ad for an insurance company, where you see an spaceship with aliens prepared to attack the earth get's stuck on tape used against flies..
