I have this guitar ^_^
I've been toying with the ideas of different types of string sets.
Jw if anyone had any suggestions/thoughts/advice etc. On brand, gauge and coating.
Thnx!

I play with a pick and I do a lot of string skipping, so I prefer a narrower string spacing at the bridge. The ideal measurements for me are 44 - 45 (nut) and 55 (bridge), but, unfortunately, there are only a few instruments with this specs (and on the expensive side also). :(
Thanks for the reply!

I Play at home or with friends. But im a bit of an audiophile. I Just love the perfect sound.. So I'm on my quest for the guitar that's going to stay with me till I'm old. I probably go for the PCE because I think it's more versatile . And I like it very much, that the sound is different. To bad I cant find more people that use it on you tube.
If you've played it and it's right for you, then yes; it's worth $1100. Recently I reviewed 4 guitars, played them on the same gig, even told the audience what I was doing. Then I got out my Guild to finish the set. After I played 1 song, a guy shouted "keep that one!" and the audience applauded. Definitely worth it!

@BOBtothe7thpower Cool; I use the regular Elixirs with nano coat, light gauge also! What difference do you notice with the phosphor bronze; brighter?

Hi, Ben. I'm interested to buy a PCE, but i don't know if is suitable for my style of playing. Can you tell me what is the string spacing at the bridge (the distance between low E and high E)? Thanx.

@123simaideparte
According to the cheap tape measure in my desk drawer it's exactly 6 centimeters. Dang, I though I was picky! :)

Hi thanks for your quick reply, I'm searching fo an excellent fingerstyle guitar, with a warm, deep, sound. I always loved the sound of the Martin D35

@Tzzaster1 Have you tried any Taylors? I played a friends the other day. Don't remember the model it was much as you describe. He had strung it with Elixer nano web; felt so nice I didn't try it with a pick.
