  • Look at all the waste - but how much would there have been without the packaging to protect the food in the first place!

  • At least food is biodegradeable.

  • I'm in this film :)

  • The Grocer says, they're making life easier for consumers. -Rubbish!!!! It's a vicious corporate cycle to increase sales over competitors. When do we say enough is enough?? How do we even begin to fight back and make *serious* changes?

  • Ahem, LUSH has knot wraps. Reusable cloth/handkerchiefs to wrap your products in. There's your packaging if you MUST have it "protected".

  • @antnhec the shop should have wrapped your soap! We wrap them in paper, similar to butcher paper that can be recycled. Shame on that lazy clerk!

  • dear lush..I bought £18 of soaps as a present..the person serving just put it all in a bag...naked as you say...By the time I got it home I had just one big bag of multi coloured lump..also one soap had glitter which was over everything and all the soaps smelt the same as the had contaminated each other..The reciever of the present was really upset..you have to rethink a bit..some packaging is needed.

  • yeah thats why i do grocery shopping with a tote and when i go shopping well i admit that having your stuff in bags is cute! but i recycle all those bags after or reused them =))

  • All Lush's packaging is recyclable, can be composted and made of sustainable ingredients!

Lush tried to put all naked products in their wrapped gifts and there were complaints.

  • its not plastic thou its paper that can be re-used

  • its were the packageing comes from.

    lushs is recled packing.

  • I love lush and I agree with this documentary, but all of the Lush products I have bought are packaged. I just bought someone a Shiny Happy People gift and the Sandstone soap did come in plastic packaging. I bought the Honey I Washed the Kids soap and it was wrapped in wax paper at $10.45 for one small bar. The Lush products in the Macy's in South Florida do come packaged and cost more than the website (shipping costs $8). Doesn't this go against the company's motto?
