Advance tl;dr - I play one of the tracks in Beatship, three different ways.

This video is not a reflection of the final product, it is more intended to demonstrate the flexibility of the game even at the current stage of development: although there is only one pre-programmed track, you can approach it in any way you like. Here I demonstrate just three ways for the City level, Commander difficulty. Don't take these ways as gospel, because there are indubitably many more!

As I have explained before, Beatship does not use any pre-recorded audio besides drum sounds; one's success in play is entirely contingent on one's internal metronome. Mine, as you will hear, is completely all over the fucking place. Yeah, well...

This time I record using my camera rather than software, providing a smoother gameplay experience. I used Silverback for the last video but the trial period expired, and BoinxTV is simply too processor intensive to play Beatship alongside. I'm sorry about the terrible audio quality as a result, but that couldn't be helped! At least this time you can actually hear drum sounds, not just pathetic thwacking.
