  • Actually, there's one more Setting to change:

Even as private as you might have made your settings, Applications and Connect sites can access your check-ins THROUGH YOUR FRIENDS! Here’s how to put a stop to that:

    > Privacy Settings > Applications, Games and Websites > Info accessible through your friends > Edit Settings > UNCHECK Places I’ve visited

This way, a game or some app that one of your friend's has enabled, cannot access the places you've visited.

  • do you know how to disable facebook place to pc/laptop ?

  • can u make how to banned people on facebook?

  • I have a problem with Facebook MONITORING MY LOCATION, period! When did I ever give them permission to do that?? Even if you disable their ability to SHARE your location with others, THEY still know where you are! This is a serious violation of basic privacy, in my opinion. I am deleting my Facebook account, over this one! They also make it an issue for signing in, if their system notices u r signing in "from an unusual location" they will block access to your account.

  • This is a misleading title. Facebook Places isn't disabled at all. You've just, basically, hid yourself from others in regards to facebook places. This still doesn't help me solve the biggest problem, having to view other peoples constant check-ins.

  • what software did you use to record the screen?
