@cisa93 actually the Tu-22m has been used in combat several times, in afghanistan they were used to carpet bomb rebel positions, dropping massive amounts of bombs like the americans did in vietnam, they were also used in chechnya and the 2008 war with georgia, the other bombers haven't been used in war i believe, mostly because they were designed for a war with a major power like the USA.

Facts: These aircraft have never seen combat and unfortunately, they're very dated since they've been around since the mid 80s. Russia is now alone with this aircraft (with the exception of Ukraine), but they are in desperate need to upgrades. Other than the Tu-95, the range on the A/C is limited.
