70s +80s music was the best 2 decades of music that will ever be heard in the entire history of music i was lucky to have grew up with this music every time you put the radio on just boss music would be getting played all the time, sadly no more +will never hear the likes of again change isnt always good

"What the hell is wrong with you tonight?" Great opening line! Then the next line is just as good and it just goes on from there. This guy really knows how to write lyrics because he has a good ear - people really talk like that - and he writes the words to the beat. Brilliant.

People of a certain age say the 60's were crap and the best music was the 50's. And before them people were saying the 50's ruined music and the 40's is where it was at. It's an age old argument that will not end. People are already pining away for the glory years era of Radiohead, Coldplay, Muse etc. which will be considered "the greatest" by someone some day....and so it goes. Keep an open mind and what ever moves you - groove to it.

well to each his own I was born in 1987 so I missed out but I love 70s rock +80s rock/soul/etc so im not wrong I just like the music that's all my granddad is into led zep/steely dan /rainbow/yes/10cc/etc etc so don't push your era of music on me I like what I like simple as that

Yeah - strictly speaking I know this was '79, but the Long 80s began with punk and ended in the 90s with grunge.

Wrong. The 60s were far superior. Read Walter Everett and the late Ian MacDonald for confirmation. This is a rare 80s song that just happens to be excellent.
