    Bela Lugosi was not only the master vampire, but the master of horror. Boris Karloff was another master at horror, but audiences saw Bela Lugosi first.

    Untrue. Lugosi-- supposedly-- did his own make-up in the original DRACULA at Universal, but this was four years later. William Tuttle was the make-up man who did his make-up on MARK OF THE VAMPIRE, his first job. Many years later he won an Oscar for PLANET OF THE APES.

    I LOVE THESE CLASSIC HORROR FILMS, THEY ARE SO WELL DONE. I LOVE THE SETTINGS, THEY ARE SO CREEPY. LUGOSI, KARLOFF, CHANEY , LEE AND CUSHING ARE THE MASTERS.
