Southern 401 Steam Locomotive! Monticello, IL RR Days

First purchased by the Monticello RR museum back in 1967, a donor stepped forward in 1995 to restore Southern 401 steam loco to operation. And after 15 years of work, was dedicated and operating at Monticello Railroad Days. September 18th, 2010.It was built in 1907.

Nice Video Bob. At 1:01 Someone got a Steambath by the Fence. This was well worth getting up at 5:30 am to make the 3 Hour Trip from The Quad Cities to see This.
