if i know something beyond the frame of the bible, it can only help on better understanding, not contradicting. i think so, at least.

@BakinKoljac I didn't say it "only" meant sex, but sex is a fundamental part of marriage. You can know lots of things that aren't in the bible, but the point here, is that Eastern Orthodox plainly contradicts the bible. This issue is just getting started on the contradictions.

@BakinKoljac I looked in the bible real hard and could find nothing about Joseph being married with children before he met Mary. A marriage is sex and there is no reason in the bible to believe that Mary would not have had sex with her husband.

joseph was many years older than her. he was married before. he had children before.
a marriage betwenn him and maria would be a no-go. in cultural and biblical way IMPOSSIBLE.
who is wrong? the bible or your understanding?

And he gave him the name Jesus." Want more? STOP with your ignorance and Mary "veneration". Worship of fertility goddesses was very common in ancient history. Some Christians at the time just switched the various pagan goddesses to Mary. Jesus and apostles did not.
