It amazes me still, how much Iran's military equipment is of U.S. origin. With the exception to some degree of the Iran-contra affair, they haven't purchased any U.S. equipment after 1979.
Very much so, They no how to effectively use the U.S. equipment, despite it being produced before 1979.

The president of Iran has no control over the nuclear program of Iran nor any powers when it concerns the Iranian Armed Forces. Unlike the United States of America, the President of Iran is not the Commander in Chief.

Iran has F-14's, and Cobra's with limited supplies. So, Israel as F-15's and Apache's with infinite supplies.

Thats true, Im just saying they both have a limit.. But Iran's military self-suffiency is alot higher than Israel's... Israel has to rely on USA supplies while Iran makes most of it themselves.
