Here is some early film from the defunct Ringling Bros. and Barnun & Bailey Circus World that was located in Haines City, FL. There is footage from the Roaring Tiger wooden roller coaster and also from the park's looping coaster the Zoomerang. Unfortunately the footage from the Zoomerang is of lesser quality than the rest.

  • I rode this coaster 100 times at least . . .

  • i remember this in circus world when i was there in 84...is it still around or gone...is circus world still standing???

  • Way cool!!! I rode the Roaring Tiger and Zoomerang, when I was a mere teenager. Great memories!!! Thanks for the cool vid!

  • @Scioneer on the bright side it's been relocated to magic springs arkansas and runs as the arkansas twister.

  • The wooden coaster looks pretty fierce!

  • @crossbones64 They were supposed to get Himalaya Bahn from Germany too in 1986 but that never happened. that coaster now operates in the german fairs and Their looper is now with Wieland schwarzkopf. and it's more like damn you Busch cause they are responsible for closing the park

  • Wow! Brings back memories!!!! I loved those rides! I moved away in '85 and never got to go back to Circus World. I had so much fun there. There was another place in Orlando that also closed down. I can't really remember it's name but i want to say it was Mr. Wizard's world or something like it. All gone!

  • i remember this place, near tampa I think. wasn't there a lagoon with shows too? I remember that zoomerrang, you went one way and then in reverse....I went the summer of 1980~ great editing~

  • I visited in the early 80s and it was like a ghost town. I got to ride the roller coaster w 2 other people over and over for like an hour without stopping. It was awesome. I also got to walk a tight rope. Now it is a frickin' shopping center.

  • Damn, the Roaring Tiger looked like a great Woodie. Its sad that its gone.
