Spektrum changed the landscape of radio control with the debut of the original surface module systems. It allowed you to update your existing transmitter to DSM and enjoy the benefits it presented, and it was good. Racers began to demand an all-in-one transmitter solution that was faster, more precise and easy to use. The folks at Spektrum obliged with the DX3R, and it was better. As good as the DX3R was, there were still calls for additional features such as Servo Speed and ABS. Others wanted a backlit display and a dropdown wheel. Once again Spektrum has listened to their users and delivered their most-advanced surface radio to-date in the Spektrum DX3R PRO.
Think of the DX3R PRO as an evolution of the original DX3R. The features you've come to know and love are all still here -- graphical Exponential screens, massive model memory, super-low 5.5m/s frame rates, DSM2and more. But in addition to those features, you'll also find things such as built-in telemetry, Spektrum's marine technology, Traction Control and a whole lot more. We've caught up with Spektrum's Blake Good to pick his brain on the latest from Spektrum.

  • No disrespect to you or your radio but several of my friends & I have had really bad luck with the telemetry for this radio, it purely sucks & is very inaccurate... Everything else about the radio is fine....
