  • Oviraptor did not steal eggs. Both fossil specimens demonstrate a nesting parent- not a hoarder of other species' eggs. Much like a modern day bird. Of course, they may have eaten eggs, but the name came from the misinterpretation of nesting behavior (back in the 1920's). Where in the world do they get their "facts" from?
