Rien Long in Armenia: "The Long Journey from the NFL to Armenia"

Shot & Edited by Peter Musurlian - 10 minutes of various clips from this 58-minute documentary, "The Long Journey from the NFL to Armenia," about NFL defensive lineman Rien Long and his 2006 trip to his ancestral homeland. He, his mother and grandmother (all American-born) return to Armenian soil, nearly 100 years after Rien's great grandparents fled an impending genocide. The film was screened at the Arpa Film Festival in Hollywood, the Pomegranate Film Festival in Toronto, the Fresno State Armenian Film Festival and the Georgetown Film Festival in DC. It also played on Horizon Armenian TV and to a potential audience of 16 million on KLCS-TV in Los Angeles in January 2008
