I think that Max is really one of the most touching characters. The writers and Daniela Sea have made a wonderful job creating him.

Hey listen, I have Gender Identity Disorder (to me, of course, I am normal). We are people, but, let me tell you, to many people we are freaks. Whenever I watched the L word I felt completely empathetic with Max, his struggles, and, most of all, his loneliness. For people with GID, loneliness is the worst symptom - one that seems sometimes incurable.
