Written by Billy McLaughlin. Billy wrote this shortly before his hand condition, focal dystonia, limited his playing. He never recorded this song, but taught it to me to record and release on my 2003 "Shine" CD. Performed here at the Beiroc Cafe in McCook, NE. Billy is now back as a left handed guitarist! Check him out at www.billymclaughlin.com

  • 1. ur not coming from australia, do you? :D

    2. why do you have 3, i repeat, 3(!!!) capos on your guitar? =D

  • @GoOdG3rMs - no I'm not from Australia and I have no idea when I'll ever get there to play. I'd love to though. I have three capos because they are all cut differently. One covers 6 strings, one covers 5 (called "Drop-D Capo - doesn't cover low E), and one covers 3 (called "Shortcut Capo" - doesn't cover low E or high E & B). They are called Partial Capos and are made by Kyser.

    Thanks!

  • If you're interested in getting some capos, let me know. I have them for sale and can ship them and accept payment through paypal.

  • I thought he was on a comeback?

  • he is. he's back as a left handed guitar player and is playing some of his old songs and writing new ones left handed. he just released a live album of him playing lefty with an orchestra. it's an amazing sound together. check it out.

  • @jrothmusic7 ah ok, wow. i didnt even know there were shorter capos as well :P i only knew the normal ones

thanks alot for your reply :)

  • Absolutely amazing... It's a shame that true talent such as this doesnt get recognized more often than the guitarists out there with half the talent banging away on their guitars with so many effects they can pretty much play anything and get away with it. Can't believe I missed the Mary's Lake Lodge show :(( maybe I

    ll catch another show soon!

wow, your post was 9 months ago and I just saw it for the first time. I guess I need to login to my youtube account more often. sorry about that. The tuning is CGDGAC. There are no tabs released for this tune to date. Hopefully some day. Thanks for listening.

  • Getting all that great tone from all those Capo's HAHA

Great song, I really enjoyed it!

  • This is great! I can't wait to see you at the cedar with Andy Mckee tomorrow!

  • Thank you for bringing one of Billy's songs to life when he couldn't play it and thank you for adding your very unique soul and style to the arrangement.

  • Billy is great! He came to my school and talked to us about having a career in music! He juiced out some amazing music right on the spot. :)
