I used to think that was a "large" city of people, but with more cities, numbering into the millions, I can't really call it "large," can I? Moderate-sized city, might be a more accurate term.
We grow by 10,000 per hour.
So there is a little basis for the worries about the global pop "explosion," but not much really. We have decades to ADAPT and prepare for a few more billions. Cities only occupy but 2 or 3% of the land, and there's places most everywhere, to put lots more people.

Your numbers you listed, sound about right. Apparently like me, you know something of how to do the math. Don't forget though, we start with estimates from sources that may not be so reliable.
Net increase (births - deaths) per day, is said to be about 220,000. Yes, that's an entire "large" (medium) city of people, each and every day.
I've heard figures of 1.8 or 2.2 billion women are now in their childbearing years. With such a "huge" number of birth canal holes from which babies can emerge, oh, it's very believable, by the math, that 4 or 5 babies are born worldwide, per second. With a much smaller 2 deaths per second - for each person who dies, 3 more are born to "replace" him or her. That's why the billions are rising throughout the world
The world is a "huge" place, plenty of room for more, welcome natural flow of life!
Why is that claim, not correct? The official numbers sound almost correct: We grow by over a million a week, or 80 million a year, or another billion in a little longer than a decade. Although, I suspect actual pop count may be a bit higher than official, due to undercounting theories and babies in the womb should count for something too.
Heard somewhere the world has 1.8 billion women of childbearing age.
What's wrong,is the global whining lies, how "bad" our natural increase
This is impossible. Because that would mean exactly 24 hours goes past, there will have been 360,000 births. 250 births a minute......60 minutes in an hour....24 hours in a day....1,440 minutes in a day. 250 babies multiplied by the number of minutes in a day equals out to be 360,000 babies in an entire day. Not right.
whoe that is alot of people come and go
