Yes, I'm aware this mission isn't normally playable in C&C64. But I found out that pretty much all Covert Ops (and even the Playstation Special Ops) missions are in the ROM anyway. This is played on the Project64 emulator, with an edited ROM where the mission name it loads for Special Ops GDI mission #1 is changed so it loads this hidden one instead.

Bugs that appear:
-Terrain colour on minimap seems to be relative to the side rather than the terrain, and is desert brown here simply because I'm playing with Nod.
-The "Special" side doesn't exist on C&C64, and they are used as civilians here. You can see the village is missing because of that. There should be a church on top of that money crate.

  • Big LoL @ GDI behaviour. Did the forget to port the AI to the N64 version?

    Thx for uploading btw!

  • @kollegahsterin AI is 100% scripted, and in this mission, it's scripted so everything attacks at the moment you wipe out one side. The way they act is exactly the same as in the PC game, always hunting for the most northern enemy.

  • Can I get the link to this Rom?

  • @pastalcon001 First of all, Youtube comments don't allow links, secondly, um, google?

  • Wait...How is this possible?! I thought this mission wasn't on the N64 version of the game...

  • @Alex06CoSonic Reading the video description usually helps. The fact the visible part of that description, without even expanding it reads "Yes, I'm aware this mission isn't normally playable in C&C64. But I found out" should've been a clue, too.

  • @Byakuga100 what I used to get my harvesting going in this vid isn't really what I'd call 'strategy' :p

  • @JohnBigOz yeah, stealth effect doesn't seem to work. It's probably the emulator's fault though.

  • @nyerguds oh, it's a Stank, oh i thought it was just a normal tank..... ahh that explains it.

  • @JohnBigOzApparently you didn't read my whole comment, either. I said the game HAS a "sleep" command that does that to units. These units are NOT sleeping. They're guarding. But the tanks are not set on "area guard" but just on "guard", meaning you can't lure them away into your defenses. They only shoot at things that are in range.

The fact my Stealth Tank could pass them without any reaction is obviously because it's invisible.
