This is my first video ever, so naturally it's very amateurish and unpolished. However, I think it turned out decent enough for a lack of experience, so I'm hoping that some of you out there will enjoy it.
The whole point of this video is show casing the struggles and pain that Sanzo endured throughout his past, before meeting the others. I tried to make it as dark and emotional as possible.

Burial is sort of an arch in the manga... but in the anime, you're right, it's a whole different series. One that's actually animated and drawn beautifully, as opposed to the Gensomaden anime. I think it's a mark of how loyal Saiyuki fans are that we watched Gensomaden despite the animation, haha!
(Though for such bad animation, the English voice acting was actually better than average, lols...)

I agree with you. This is way beyond just fantastic for just a beginner video. I feel that the clips you have put in this goes very well with the song. I'm actually very glad with your choice. It is something that I wouldn't expect, but it goes so well with the OAV.

agreed, the cnimation in Gensomaden made me want to cry at times D: but the voice acting was indeed good. I just wish it had been animated as well as Burial >.>

I agree with you absolutly. My friend and I (we're both Saiyuki fans) laughed that only hardcore Saiyuki fans could get through Gensomaden with that (sometimes horrible) animation. Burial is awesome.

YAY! First comment. Oh btw do happen to know if Goku ever meets his old friend Nataku or if he ever finds out why he was impresioned in the mountain for 500 years in this series?

Wow. Thanks for commenting! ^^ But, as for Goku and Nataku, I don't think so. I'm not entirely certain, but I don't think they've reunited. =(
