Good thing the UK gouvt apologised for Turing treatement: "But even more than that, Alan deserves recognition for his contribution to humankind. For those of us born after 1945, into a Europe which is united, democratic and at peace, it is hard to imagine that our continent was once the theatre of mankind’s darkest hour. [...] So on behalf of the British government, and all those who live freely thanks to Alan’s work I am very proud to say: we’re sorry, you deserved so much better."

@blenderpanzi The striped Apple logo came out a few years before the "rainbow pride" flag. It was more to show it was a color computer and to appeal to a younger market. There's also no real evidence that it had anything to do with Turing, unfortunately, since I'd like it to be true.

There's a good Turing biopic called "Breaking the Code". Gordon Brown actually issued a formal apology a few years ago, shame it was 50 years late...
