I already have removed my money ( not theres ) from the bank and moved it to a cedit union. The bank asked me why after ten plus years I was leaving. I told them I had had it with there fees and greed. There told me that I needed to do my home work before I closed my account.My answer to them was "I had".

If everyone moves their money from banks to smaller credit unions wouldn't the credit unions become the new banks? I like the idea behind this whole thing but...

I do it the old OLD fashioned way! Way before banks were invented and any form of credit existed ppl were just fine and thats how I do it I don't use credit I don't use banks I work I cash my checks and the moneys mine AND no I'm not like 80 LOL i'm not even 30 I have a prepaid credit card but only cause our system needs them sometimes

Just opened my new credit union accounts today. Will be transferring money out of the banks on Nov 5. Non-profit credit union cooperatives are a much better concept than for profit corporate mega banks.
