This tutorial will teach you how to transfer files between two NFC-enabled smartphone by using an awesome Android file manager app called File Expert . NFC is a new technology that used to communicate in a short distance. In the latest release of File Expert, we becomes the first file manager app that supports NFC file transfer, this new sharing method will give you the most easy way to transfer files between two phones. Technically speaking, this new method will use NFC to auto-configure a Bluetooth connection between phones, there're no device searching and pairing process required, so it is a ZERO configuration solution for transferring files.

To transfer file files in this way all you need to do is just simply tap phones together to get them connected, then leaves all the remain job to us.

File Expert is an awesome file manager app which supports many powerful features like WiFi sharing, SMB sharing and others that you have never seen on competitive apps.

File Expert is free, both price free and Ads free. Check out File Expert today to make your mobile life easier and smarter!

  • ...would be interesting a file transfer via NFC (also I don't know if this possible)

  • @danidrach Yes, it's possible, but useless because NFC just function in distance between 1cm-4cm, and it's too slow for file transfer, if the whole data is sent by NFC, it means you cannot move them away in the sending process, but use BT to send data, the speed is fast and you can move them away because typical BT distance is 1m-10m

  • If the file-transmission us done via NFC, for what is needed to maintain Bluetooth powered?? Or simply NFC starts Bluetooth communication? (stupid thing)

  • @danidrach We use NFC to get your phone connected, but the data transferring is done using Bluetooth, because NFC is a short distance technology, its typical distance is 1cm-4cm, and it's slow for file transfer. So we decided to use NFC to transfer only configuration data, and use those data to establish a Bluetooth connection, without NFC, you have to search for nearby devices and then pair them, but here you just need to tap them together. That's why we need both NFC and Bluetooth to work

  • @xinxiaoc And is not the same as "clicking" in "send via B/T" and selecting contact?? what I mean is: what are the benefits over sending via B/T?

  • @danidrach Send via BT will lead you to normal BT process, which means, you still need to search nearby devices and pair them before sending any data. NFC Tapping have no those pre-requisites

  • A very nice and elaborative video i must say :),thank you

  • @xinxiaoc hey thanks for letting me know that nfc is slow for file transfer and why nfc and BT should be on,but in simple words NFC only can do file transfer without BT but it will be slow right?

  • your voice.....im both confused and aroused, never thought "Gary app" would make me harder then chinese algebra.

  • Hi maggie send your qq Id....

  • What if you use a phone like lg nitro hd which has bt 3.0+hs? (which uses Bluetooth only to configure a file transfer over wifi)

It would be like, nfc to get a fast bt config to get a fast wifi config xD

  • Shhiiiiiiit. Technology, you so great.
