BTW... this gave Casey Kasem the double take when he did a top 40 review of, i believe it was October but i may be a month or two off..... October 1964. with all the Beetles and Elvis trading top spot on the weekly charts, Greene topped them all for the monthly 40 :D

This was recorded in 1964. Johnny Ringo ( better known as John Ringold ) was a gun thug that wandered about the Tombstone Arizona area in the 1880's that was found shot to death under a tree in the Arizona outback in the 1880's. Glamorized in the movie "Tombstone", just broadcast for the ump-teenth time.
