Why I Repented of a Marriage God Called Adulterous! Part 1

There are those who cannot ascertain whether or not their marriage is 'lawful' according to the teaching that led this woman to leave her marriage. Some have been divorced multiple times, as Chuck Crismier states, but some were married for the first time to a divorcee. What if the divorcee they married was also married to a divorcee and no one knew whether their former marriage was 'adulterous'? People in a 'true' marriage would have to sin (divorce again) to avoid hurting their conscience!

Jesus didn't say that the remarriage was adulterous. Jesus said that the two acts of divorcing and remarrying constituted adultery (except in one case). Why do these teachers twist God's word as written?
This lady who left her marriage disobeyed Paul's counsel in 1 Corinthians 7:17, 20. What about those who cannot know whether their marriage is 'lawful or not'? What if you are in your third marriage and all your former spouses were also divorced?

So refreshing to hear. It grieves my heart that the body of Christ is deaf to His words and that they have hardened their heart against Him.

@loudowsonjr Will keep you, your wife, your daughters and the man in prison in prayer. Trust in YHWH and demonstrate your love to Him by obeying Him always.

in the timies that "god" made laws concerning divorce. marrigaes were arranged. it didnt matter if the girl wanted to be married to the man or if she was personally compatible with him. so ppl were miserable and married. but because of tradition they went along with it. a cultural thing. thank goodness we have the freedom now to choose who we want to be with.
Christians need to hear this. God hates divorce. The problem stems from the self centered Gospel, and our thinking like the world. Divorce destroys familys. I learn this the hard way. My first wife devorced me, so she could marry another man. That man is in prison, for crimes he against my daughters. We need to repent, and return to the truth, of God's word.
