The following is from the Book of Secrets of Enoch
Chapter 58
Enochs instructions to his sons
1Listen to me, my children, to-day.
2In those days when the Lord came down on to earth for Adams sake, and visited all his creatures, which he created himself, after all these he created Adam, and the Lord called all the beasts of the earth, all the reptiles, and all the birds that soar in the air, and brought them all before the face of our father Adam.
3And Adam gave the names to all things living on earth.
4And the Lord appointed him ruler over all, and subjected to him all things under his hands, and made them dumb and made them dull that they be commanded of man, and be in subjection and obedience to him.
5Thus also the Lord created every man lord over all his possessions.
6The Lord will not judge a single soul of beast for mans sake, but adjudges the souls of men to their beasts in this world; for men have a special place.
7And as every soul of man is according to number, similarly beasts will not perish, nor all souls of beasts which the Lord created, till the great judgment, and they will accuse man, if he feed them ill.

Chapter 59
1Whoever defiles the soul of beasts, defiles his own soul.

animals are pure of spirit...they are very spiritual beings, and if a person had never loved a animal then they havent experenced there full being yet.Animals are here to teach us love, in fact dogs actually pick us to take care of, although we think we pick them and take care of them its the other way around, there here to teach us love, and thats all animals we have in our lives, but we need to respect all animals as they are beings to,

Some cultures eat dogs and cats and always have done what will happen to them are you saying because there culture is different there go to hell no because in the bible it says I will give you dominion other all the animals and you can eat what pleases you! Ha ha

I've only seen heaven and never seen hell but then you have to have a tormented soul to see it so I guess I'm OK with Him!

Also, if animals have souls then why is it that God approved of their death for sacrifices and even food? When it come to man this was completely forbidden.

It only says that man was made in the image of God, not animals.

I'm afraid that the information you got from Enoch is wrong. Enoch was talking about the unclean souls of demons that come from the Nephilim which were the offsprings of man and angels...not animals.

Interestingly I think Enoch should have been included in the cannon. It is interesting that you use it to back up your theory.

I'm afraid that I cannot say that animals have souls. Why it even says so in the Bible that man should not become as unreasoning animals.

Guess all animals are going to hell since they aren't capable of belief, my guinea pig died an athiest.
